Laverne is survived by her sons Travis Jim and Terrance Jim, daughters Victoria Cassidy, Donna Jim, Divida Ayze, DeVonne Jim, brothers Franklin Pierce, Ferdinand Pierce, Ferguson Pierce and Jason Jackson, sisters Louella Cambridge, Lorna Pierce, Lucinda Wasnoska, and grandchildren Nicolle Cassidy, Michael Cassidy, Dylan Cassidy, Jonathan Ayze and James Ayze. Laverne is preceded in death by her loving husband James Jim, daughter Dorvinia Jean Jim, parents Stella Jackson(Yazzie) and Franklin "Frankie" Pierce, brothers Felix Pierce and Lindy Pierce, sisters Emma Jean Pierce, Edith Pierce and Esther Edison grandparents, Suzy Napi, James Pierce Sr., Etcitty Yazzie and Glip Pah.
Laverne was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
Even after, she still enjoyed traveling to Utah to visit her kids. Laverne loved to travel with her family, especially with her husband and her daughter up until their passing. Laverne was also a seamstress and enjoyed sewing she also dawdled a little in silversmithing, making beautiful jewelry. She was a caregiver and helped her family and friends anyway she could.
